I hate the bring this up because it is a bobcat forum, but today when the griz were playing EWU i was having a rough time going for EWU just because their fans, in general, are terrible and ignorant and some of their players need to learn the word humility. . . not saying all of them but there are a few. . . However I read on Egriz the comment made by one of their posters that said this "but I don't think its possible to hate a team more than I hate MSU. I would openly celebrate terrorists crashing a plane into their practice and killing them all."
It was in that minute that I realized once again why I despise the griz with everything i got. I understand he doesnt represent the majority of griz nation, not arguing that and their are great griz fans that I know, including my brother who is unfortunately a griz fan. . . but that is messed up that someone would even say that. Maybe bothering me more then it should be that makes all of griz nation look bad even if it was just the opinion of one drunk, miserable person.

I have learned over the years that there is a big difference between Griz fans and eGriz fans. I have great relationships with quite a few of the former while not wishing to have anything to do with most of the latter. Unfortunately I think a large percentage of traffic on these types of message boards are people trying to make themselves feel more important by closely associating themselves with the successes of their teams (we won) while simultaneously distancing themselves from the failures by calling for coaches to be fired and players to be benched at the first sign of adversity (they lost). Fortunately, Bobcat Nation is far, far better than many other similar venues and I sure hope it stays that way.

We have idiots that post on our board from time to time as well, yet lots of people read our board while not caring about what the idiots say/think. Being able to ignore the idiots while enjoying the insights of the non-idiots is actually a pretty good skillset to have.

I wish I had that skill, but I still need a lot of work in that area.
