Wearing my gear in WAGriz this week!

Post by WalkOn79 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 11:11 am

Daughter is taking a campus tour, but we're doing MSU first on Thursday. Wish me luck!!

Wahlberg and Alpha invited me to their tailgates. This should be fun.

I hope your daughter chooses MSU. I have 2 at MSU and my son that is in high school is leaning towards MSU. Plus MSU is closer to home.

She would be only the second in the WHOLE FAMILY to go to the U. The other niece grew up in Idaho, so that might have had something to do with it! :)

Good luck, have fun, post pics.

UM is a great campus, and I have no doubt she'll enjoy herself.

What's she planning to study?

What did your daughter think of MSU? Didn't have too great of weather yesterday.

If she's from NE Montana, I don't think it'll phase her too much.

Looks like I may have won that battle. She wants film and photography. So I think her interests won out over her heart :)

Gotta tell ya though. It is a cool campus. There are a lot of things I wish we had as far as atmosphere. The river isn't one of them!

Her biggest problem was her brother was still going to be in Bozeman. She wanted to do her own thing.

Well be sure to let her know about the constant inversion in the winter time (basically from november thru march/april). If she wants to see the sun at all in the winter time (or may be suceptible to seasonal affective disorder), she may want to look elsewhere.

One of the big reasons for me going to Missoula other than it having the PT school(I could have done pre PT at Bozeman), was that my brother and sister were going to school in Bozeman. I wanted to do my own thing too. Also didn't want my sister telling my parents how hedonistic I was being my freshman year.
