Weber's Adamczyk retires

Here is a story on TSN about the QB. Finally decided to fix his knee completely and finish his degree. I hate seeing any player have to make that decision - even though it is almost always the right one. Having to hang it up your senior year is tough.

I believe you're thinking of Stanford transfer Adam Brzeczek.

With the year that Weber is now having, and the quarterback quits wow this has got to be a demoralized team. Is Jody Sears the reincarnation of Earl the program killer?

It's likely that either Adam-sick or Adam-zick is acceptable. There's actually an intermediate consonant sound between s and z that we don't have in English, and I'm pretty sure that's what's intended by the "czyk" ending.

One of my favorite NFL players in the 90s was named Strzelczyk, and that was even harder to figure out (it's Strel-sick or Strel-zick).
