Portland State looks really good. Up 21-7 right before halftime. And it looks like a fairly decent crowd for them at Jeld Wen Field. I don't know why more people don't go to Vikings games just to hang out in that stadium. It's such a cool place.

They are too busy going to portland timber soccer games. This is turning into a good game.

I went to a Timbers game in June. Stood with Timbers Army and sang my head off. It was incredibly fun.Mtcatfan wrote:They are too busy going to portland timber soccer games. This is turning into a good game.
We're all tied up at 21 in the 3rd quarter as Cal Poly got its offense rolling.

PSU couldn't stop the ground attack in the fourth quarter. Cal poly moved the chains at will. PSU had a great outside deep threat receiver.

Interesting and fun to watch Coach Walsh @ CP run a 1960's style wing and double wing T-formation, complete with misdirection, angle and double team blocking and "belly" type inside options. He reminds me of Don Shula. Seems he has the versatility to run the offense according to the talents of his players. Back in his days at PSU with Jimmy Blanchard he had more of a wide open, pro-style offense.

I've been watching the second half. Lots of PSU mistakes. Poor in the red zone. Cal poly d looks pretty solid.
PSU #1 Victor Dean is a serious threat receiver. Gotta be 6'5" super hard to defend 1:1. 3 td's. Guy has wheels
