Never been to Death Valley but A&M is louder than Oregon

I think it depends on what game you're at. I've been to Autzen and Kyle Field and I think Autzen was much louder, but I was at Kyle Field when the Cats were there so maybe they didn't get as loud for that game as they would for a Big 12/SEC game.

I was at that cat game at Kyle field as well and you are right it wasnt that loud.

I have seen Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas play there and its mind rattling. Oregon is loud......seen USC, OSU and the Griz play there but its just not as loud as Kyle Field.

I can't really disagree with anything on here, as so much depends on context. Who's the visiting team, what time is the game, etc.

The one thing I can say is that Death Valley is absolutely ridiculous. 90,000+ screaming cajuns who, for the most part, have been drinking ALL DAY because they play so many games at night. It's mind-boggling, you can't hear the person next to you AT ALL. For me, Williams-Brice (South Carolina) for a night game, Lane Stadium (VT...night game...when they play Enter Sandman...my God) and Sanford Stadium (UGA for a conference game against the Gamecocks) are probably #2, #3 and #4. Unfortunately, having been in the South for so many years, I have yet to experience Autzen or Kyle Field. Both are on the bucket list.

I agree with you on Willams Brice.....very underrated in the SEC but definitely better than Bama, (very disappointing) Auburn or Tennessee. Ole Miss isnt that loud but the tailgating and the "scenery" are unbeatable.......its simply the best.

Kyle field was loud but it is open at the one end and that lets a lot of the noise out. Riding back to the hotel on the bus the A&M fans (who were great) kept asking me about the noise level and what I thought. I told them it was loud but nothing like Washington grizzly stadium. They were a little surprised!

Hahah. You must be referring to the Griz game in 2005. That was a scrimmage for the Ducks. I know it was the Super Bowl for Griz fans, because I was there, and was sitting in one of the 2 Griz sections in the corner of the stadium.

It doesn't matter what game you go to Oregon isn't as loud as Kyle Field. Go to a game there before you run your pie hole.

I went to the aTm game, and pretty much everybody else in the country thinks Autzen is louder, which it is bases on the closed end zone. You're not an expert, either.

Not really a Seahawks fan but I really want to get to a game in that stadium. Suppose to be the loudest on earth....just broke the genius world record...

I haven't even been to an FBS game
Would really like to get to a Ducks game...

On October 27, 2007, during a 24–17 victory against the USC Trojans, a then-record Autzen crowd of 59,277 fans was recorded at 127.2 decibels. A similarly loud 31–27 upset of third-ranked Michigan in 2003 prompted a Michigan Daily columnist to write[22]

“ Autzen's 59,000 strong make the Big House collectively sound like a pathetic whimper. It’s louder than any place I’ve ever been, and that includes The Swamp at Florida, The Shoe in Columbus, and Death Valley at Louisiana State. Autzen Stadium is where great teams go to die. ”
Michigan coach Lloyd Carr later said that Autzen Stadium was the loudest stadium he'd ever been in.[23]

A view of the field during the 2007 USC game. The new press box on the south side, built in 2002, is visible to the left
In 2006, a Sporting News columnist named Autzen the most intimidating college football stadium in the nation.[24]

Lee Corso of ESPN College Gameday frequently says, "Per person Autzen Stadium is the loudest stadium that I have ever been in my entire life!"[25]

Jahvid Best, a former starting running back for the Detroit Lions, visited Autzen while playing for the California Golden Bears in 2007. He later said, "The biggest thing I remember about that game is the crowd. The crowd noise is crazy up there. Honestly, any other away game I don't really even hear the crowd. Oregon was the only place where it really got on my nerves."[26]
---------------------------------

I'm sure Kyle Field is loud during big games, but there haven't been many big home games for aTm, at least in terms of BCS ramifications, over the last 10 or so years. I will say this, though. The Autzen crowd seems to be getting a bit complacent, since the Ducks typically just flat out crush opposing teams. I heard the Stanford game last year was deafening, but I was in Missoula for Cat/Griz. Man, that WashGriz crowd was pretty quiet in the second half!

So you just proved Kyle Field is louder than Autzen. (Only 127.2)

We agree
