What do you all think about the top 5?

I actually thought the A&M fans sounded like Griz fans. The comparison to Gore fans was great.

i think they deserve it. i have to chuckle though, i remember as a kid going to griz games at dornblaser. you could walk up to the window, buy a ticket on the 50, and have a fun time with the 1000 other fans that showed up to watch rocky klever etc.

Now, we just need to work on getting MSU in one of the 2 through 5 spots. Then a few more playoff appearances. Then a move to the WAC with the Griz. Then a few years go by....and the Cat/Griz game is game of the week on ABC sports. Then a second meeting in the Cotton bowl....but I digress. :)

Yeah, I think all Montana fans (Bobcat & Griz) should aspire to be in the WAC... See you at the GMC Bowl.

Congrats to the UM fans! With a stadium they have it sets up the atmosphere so well... I think MSU is headed in that direction... keep putting a great product on the field, upgrade the stadium and the Bobcat fans will be in that 2-5 slot! This is MONTANA and we LIKE our college football teams!

I have to Maryland football games, Virginia Football games, Washington Redskins football games, Cat games and to Griz games. There is nothing like a Griz game. We have a long way to go. If we can only get the admin to make some changes.

It all starts with your stadium. It's not too bad right now but it just needs a few things. A while back on here I made a suggestion for the north end zone (too lazy to look it up) about a huge restaurant/bar type structure. That would be cool if they did that.

If you build it, they will come. Said the freaky voice in the tailgate area.

I like that idea as well. They could get some capital money from the Restaurant place going in and make it a bar/restaurant during the season and offseason etc. I'm not sure how well the bar/restaurant thing would fly being as it is on the MSU campus though etc. Lots of stadiums have private bars/restaurants that are leased out to them throuhg the stadium/team etc. though.

Cat... I totally agree with you on the start is the stadium. MSU has a good stadium...not great... but could be great when the last few phases are done. Need that sugar daddy to come through for us. Winning certainly becomes a part of it... competing at a high level year to year is just as important.
