So now the BCS has pulled their head out and the new "College Football Playoff" bowls are in play -- What becomes of the title "NCAA Division 1 College Football Championship" -- the official name of the FCS playoffs, and the "FCS" and "FBS" names?


I cannot see the two nomenclatures surviving


Any guesses -- Will it be back to 1-A and 1-AA ?? Or will the NCAA come up with new ones?

My guess is that they'll keep FCS and FBS... and just call them the FCS Playoffs and FBS playoffs respectively. Of course that might be too easy so on second thought they'll probably come up with something "new" and way more confusing...
