NAU Quarterback Jeff Lewis

Many of you will remember Jeff Lewis, the great NAU qb from the mid-1990's. During his career he threw for 9,639 yards and 67 touchdowns. He played in the NFL for Carolina, Saints and was John Elway's back-up for the Super Bowl champs Broncos. Jeff passed away last week at age 39. He was the receivers coach for NAU at the time of his death. Cause has not been disclosed, but he had ongoing health problems.
