Down 3 at halftime
I like NDSU, I also Like SHSU, both have very good teams and their fanbases are passionate and knowledgeable.lakesbison wrote:You guys can jump on our bandwagon...please??

NDSU has the stronger defense, SHSU has the stronger offense. I am hoping to see a rematch of the 2011 NC and hope it will be a close exciting game.
Hopefully your son is working hard because we are going to need to be bigger, faster, and stronger especially on the OL.KalCat76 wrote:Looked over the Bison roster and counted only 6 seniors, tough road trip for the Cats next year!
I was wondering that very thing. Here's what the roster on the espn.com website shows:LongTimeCatFan wrote:Hopefully your son is working hard because we are going to need to be bigger, faster, and stronger especially on the OL.KalCat76 wrote:Looked over the Bison roster and counted only 6 seniors, tough road trip for the Cats next year!

The Politically Correct Police haven't contacted you about changing your username, have they? Might just piss somebody off from the Standing Rock Rez. Go Sioux!
I find it hard to believe that the atmosphere at a Sioux Football game is better than a Bison Football game.Siouxfan wrote:We'll always be Sioux, even with a new name!rebel wrote:![]()

Seems Sports Illustrated agrees, with this article just yesterday:

Even the ESPN3 announcer from last Saturday, who did the NDSU/Wofford game, seemed more impressed with the "Sioux" atmosphere:

football in Grand Forks is like basketball in Bozeman. They do hockey there.snowman wrote:I find it hard to believe that the atmosphere at a Sioux Football game is better than a Bison Football game.Siouxfan wrote:We'll always be Sioux, even with a new name!rebel wrote:![]()

You mean Sioux hockey. It partially depends on who they are playing. Vs Minnesota, tickets go for $500 a piece. Whoever they are playing, it is always a carnival atmosphere.snowman wrote:

Ok. Sorry I thought you were talking about Football so misunderstood that. How did we get to Hockey talk in this thread?Siouxfan wrote:You mean Sioux hockey. Sioux football playoff games in D2 days vs Grand Valley St (who were coached by Brian Kelley now of Notre Dame) and UC-Davis absolutely rocked. The Alerus Center, which has a lower roof than the FargoDome and can be much louder, reached incredible decibel levels. Everybody covered their ears because the noise hurt so much. NDSU rarely made the D2 playoffs in the five years prior to moving up and until the past two years, the FargoDome was more like a masoleum. UND's transition sucked a lot of life out of the football fan base excitement here.
