So with Poole out for playing drugs while raving that makes two starting OLine and one starting LB out for Weber. This game could get interesting.

Having a week off between Weber and the Bobcats will not make things easier in Missoula. Lots of time for the boys to get in trouble.

I hope they stay out of trouble and have all hands on deck when the Bobcats arrive.

The match-up in Ogden this week looked interesting without the latest snafus in Missoula. These 3 are going to be off for 2 straight weeks. Oh my!!

Good for Delaney on the suspensions. I really do hope that it does not hurt them.

It just keeps getting worse. I'm so glad MSU didn't get a stop-gap guy in to be the quick fix when they fired Kramer. Ash came in and knew he'd have the reins for a while. Delaney can do all he wants at UM, but the fact remains that he's still stuck with Hauck and Pflugrad's guys. The only way to really change the culture is to change the kind of guys you're bringing in, and Mick hasn't had a chance to do that. But Mick has to know he's not going to be around forever, and recruits have to know the same thing.

And yet griz fans think their biggest problem is the coaching staff….. #-o

So they actually suspended them for an entire game, and not just one quarter? Wow...the culture really is changing in Grizville!!

This is Weber's Super Bowl without a doubt. Coming off a bye week and having a glimmer of confidence from the win at SUU, I think they bring it. This does not bode well for the granola bears.

My favorite line...

"I will not go in to particulars about why the three were suspended, but I can say it does not involve law enforcement."

It's an insight into the program that the head coach has to include that statement...

If not law enforcement, were they Twittering?

Maybe someone could post a list of the entire team's Twitter accounts so we'd be sure not to distract them during Cat/Griz!

With the one guy getting arrested, I think he had to say that or people would think that they were also involved in the party.

Just hope EVERY BOBCAT athlete says, "I don't want to be THOSE guys."

It amazes me that any of their players are dumb enough to still be doing crap like this (I mean Poole, not these three), knowing that their program is under such a microscope right now, and with the NCAA investigation still ongoing.

My first thought was maybe they were at that party (rave--whatever it was) but not involved in the illegal activity. Might have just broke a team rule regarding a curfew or partying, etc.

I applaud the head coach for suspending the players but how will this affect the Griz program.

When the previous coach has had problems and now his replacement has to suspend 3 and a 4th player gets arrested, if that is not the definition of lack of institutional control I dont know what is. With the NCAA investigation going on already this has to be very bad news for UM

With Pflu and O'Day at the helm would we have seen such a strong response? Based on Tazergate likely not.

Agreed.
I think the administration's response to this has been appropriate and timely.

Why are they covering 3 suspensions up? Why not just come out and say why you are suspending those players? It looks even worse when you have to suspend players but cannot come out and say why you are doing it.

The Cats have done the same thing. Rory Perez was suspended for the first game without a reason given and there were guys last year that were also suspended without reasons given by the coaching staff. It could be anything from skipping class to showing up late to meetings or work outs to something off campus.
