Big Sky national champions (football)

Post by TomCat88 » Tue Jul 17, 2012 8:07 pm

Since the Big Sky Conference was formed in 1963 there have been seven national champions from the league:

MSU - 2
UM - 2
BSU - 1
ISU - 1
EWU - 1

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Well you're certainly off to a good start...

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I think the one you are trolling for is pre-Big Sky Conference which was formed in 1963

50% chance one of the next two NC's is won by a Big Sky team IMHO

Who will it be?

Objectively, I'd give MSU and UM the best chances, with EWU and Cal Poly lurking

Too bad NDSU is not in the Big Sky, if they were I'd revise to 75% chance

I think we are the new CAA, we should get 4 or 5 playoff teams this year
