Sports Illustrated's mock draft has Lilliaard from Weber going as high as #8 in their mock draft. This kid is going to need a good wheelbarrow to carry his money.

I'm no expert but I just can't see that happening. I would think that just with UNC, UK, Kansas, Duke, and OSU there are at least 10 lottery spots taken up. That doesn't count any over seas players that nobody ever knows anything about...this appears to me to be a very talented draft class. Of course you never know until they get there and perform. Kind of like recruits in college.

Well this one has him at #13--still a lottery. Good for him.

Tom Tolbert has the drivetime radio show here on the big sports talk station, and he was talking about Lilliard in the top 10 as well. He didn't think the Warriors needed another smallish guard, but he spoke very highly of him in terms of other teams' needs.

I think my Blazers are going to take him at #6, or trade their #11 pick (along with the 40th and 41st picks) to move up to #9 to take Lilliard.

He could be the next Russell Westbrook, or he could be the next Jarryd Bayless. Either way, that's worth a shot in the lottery.

I just looked at another Sports illustrated mock draft with him going at number 10 to the hornets. Does anybody know how manny Big Sky players went in the first round. I know Michael Ray Richardson went at #4.

Other than Rodney and some ISU, Weber and Idaho kids, I don't recall any getting drafted. Not sure about Stockton getting drafted. Gus Johnson? Maybe call the last guy on this list: http://www.blacksportsagents.com/directors.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I had time to read this, I'm sure they'll lay claim to some of the best of the best: http://scholarworks.boisestate.edu/cgi/ ... additional" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Childs wasn't a first rounder either.

Rodney Stuckey (Eastern Washington) was the 15th overall pick in the 2007 draft.

John Stockton was the 16th pick in the 1984 draft.

Gonzaga was no longer in the BSC in 1984. Their last year in the conference was 1978-79.

He went #6 to Portland. Really cool to see a player from the BSC going this high and I hope for the best in his career

I'll be rooting for him. I hope he succeeds. The Blazers could use some good luck in the first round for a change.

Yeah, being picked by the Blazers in the first round could be the kiss of death.

I don't think that the Blazers have been good since the days of Clyde Drexler

I had no inside source on this one. Just went with my gut! :P

It's worked out pretty well for LaMarcus Aldridge and Nic Batum (and BRoy before his knee issues), but the Oden/Roy/Bowie/LaRue Martin/Walton debacles have all Blazer fans leery of any draft pick.

I'm just excited to finally be able to watch a quick PG, with size, and who can shoot, run the pick and roll with LMA (Aldridge, for those of you not familiar with the Blazers). Lillard is a poor man's Derrick Rose in terms of style of play, size, and athletic ability. I'm not saying he'll be at Rose's level, but he'll already be an upgrade over fat Ray Felton, who ate his way through one inglorious season in PDX.

Ha! That made me chuckle.

It still might a rough year with Batum gone.
