.... by admitting Northern Colorado while at the same time saying "NO" to NDSU and SDSU.... JMHO

Here's a new article about an old decision:

In Retrospect, my butt. There is no looking back, to decide it was a dumb move. It was dumb then and it simply looks even dumber now. I will tell you I do not think admitting Northern Colorado was the real dumb move, but by passing by the Dakota schools was the real bone head decision. As far as I am concerned, when Sac State, Portland State and I believe Northern Arizona vetoed them, we should have shown Sac St, PSU and NAU the door. Sac. State, and PSU are not long term schools in our conference, and eventually will try to leave or drop back down. The Dakota schools are a much better fit. Hell I would mind it if MSU and UM just left the Big Sky grabbed the Dakotas and a few other schools (ISU, Weber, EWU)and started our own conference.

Our own new conference with:MSU, ISU, Weber, EWU, NoDakSt, SoDakSt, NoDak, SoDak, and um would be fantastic.

I am however, more in favor of a HUGE conference, with a North and a South Division. Look at what the big schools back east do, and all the recognition those conferences get.

NORTH: MSU, EWU, ISU, EWU, NODAKST, SODACKST, UM

SOUTH: NAU, SAC ST, PORTLAND, CAL POLY, CAL DAVIS, SUU, WEBER

EWU is gonna have a tough time scheduling that.

Where do UND and USD fit in, as they are both moving up too?

Agreed Completely.
