Who have you secretly respected/feared against the Griz/Cats

Post by PDXGriz » Sun Jun 01, 2008 6:07 pm

Differences aside, what's one opposing player for UM or MSU that you wanted to see succeed but wanted them to break their leg at the same time?

For me I gotta go with Ryan Johnson. The guy had solid grades, worked hard and wouldn't f-ing hit the turf.

Johnson's a good choice. Of course, there's always TL. Probably one of those 2 guys.

Hilliard. Biermann. I haven't feared a Griz QB for quite awhile, maybe Ochs.

Ah Yat (sp?) and Crebo (should've been a 'Cat, but followed his kicker buddy to um).

Lulay, that guy seemed to just know how to beat the Griz.

I'd probably go with Ochs, Hilliard, and Segars.

Mike Ferriter. I know his parents well and they are all really good people, so I like to see him have big games - except for that one game in November!

Other Griz: Kroy Bierman. My mom's side of the family was from Hardin, so it was easy to root for Kroy except Cat/Griz. Shawn Samuelson: I know, different sport, but another example of small town ties. He was from Broadus, and my dad's side of the family was from Broadus, so I always rooted for the kid.

Yep. Starting fullback for the Ravens.

He didn't start a game in 2007, and only started 2 in 2006. The depth chart lists him as 2nd string on NFL.COM too.

How about Eric Allen over the past two years - guy was nowhere to be seen for the whole season, but when the Cat/Griz game came around, he played like Jerry Rice. What's up with that?

Like I would tell you guys....

I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

Can't say I ever wanted a griz to be injured...Playing and beating the griz w/o their best players is unfulfilling.

Tomato/tomato.

He started 4 games in 06 before going on the IR.

You are correct he's listed as second on the depth chart, but actually played more minutes than McClain last year. As I said, Tomato/Tomato.

Mike Kramer. His kids came to play against the Griz. No matter the talent MK had, he had 'em ready.

But you listed him as starting, as in present tense. Also, Mclain had more rushes and catches. Covering kicks dosen't really count as a starting position player.
