Trey Wanty

Any rumors on if/where Trey Wanty from Shelby will play college basketball? Being 600 miles away I've not had a chance to see him play. Only going on the stats from the last couple of seasons. Good luck to the 'Yotes in the championship game tonight.

Are you a Shelby High grad? I graduated from there in 1993.

My guess is that Wanty could end up playing some ball for an NAIA team. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play for a team like Carroll or Tech.

Anyone have any updates for the Shelby/Fairfield game tonight?

Did Shelby really win? That's awesome! Fairfield kicked their butts in both the district and divisional championship games. Revenge is sweet!

The Cats did sign Trey's teammate, Kevin Steiner for football. Looking forward to watching him.

SHS Class of '87

Fort Benton High School class of 87. Next year is Fort Benton's last year in class B then down to class C because of declining enrollment. I am going to miss the old northern B rivalries.

Shelby's championship this year gives the North-East B Division its 14th state title in the past 18 years....Fairfield-6, Cut Bank-4, Malta-2, Shelby-1, Harlem-1....pretty amazing. And District 1B has accounted for 11 of those championships.

The rumor up in the Shelby area is that he wants to go to Carroll. Again, I stress RUMOR, not confirmed
