Why?

Maybe the kid wants to stay out of the spotlight a little bit. All this hype that has been stacked on the shoulders of an 18 year old is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

Exactly!!! This kid is playing the media like a fiddle and they're eating it up.

He is making a trip to Oregon this week hope the Ducks can ink him but it's a long shot.

He is playing basketball now and will not make a decision until the season is over. It sounded like his dad was pushing Penn State pretty hard.

Apparently he led his high school team, Jeanette, to the state title. More sickening numbers.

Here's how he did in the title game; they won 82-68.

So until he actually does, I won't believe any of the rumors floating around.

This guy is obviously a freak. I would not be surprised to see him look at Michigan with Rodriguez (sp) there now. I would guess his dad wants him at Penn State so he can start right away.

I wonder if he is honestly torn or if he just likes the idea of people like us across the country discussing him. Sort of as an under the radar hype building, since the major media outlets are only covering this sporadically.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I read somewhere he may not decide until April.
