I heard that they have been invited to the DII conference that has Central and Western Washington (can't remember the name). I don't think they'll go unless the rest of the Frontier goes with them.

It's the NCC and it has a bizarro layout. Check out the map. What would make better sense is for WWU and CWU to break out and join the Frontier and then have the entire Frontier join Division II. That would be cool. Then the Frontier would have enough teams (eight) to not have to play each other twice, which is very lame.

I believe UND and USD are leaving for FCS soon, so that would leave room for CC and the rest of the Frontier to join to form a super Conference with a west and east division.

Yep, UND and USD begin their transition to FCS next year. Carroll and the rest of the Frontier could join the old DAK 10 and form a new conference.

Congrats to Carroll, what a great run!

Pretty sweet stuff. That's one of the best celebration photos I've ever seen. Really captures the spirit of a sport like football.

I wondered how many people would catch that.... maybe I should've actually mentioned Rolling Stone or Dr. Hook?

Anyway, congrats to Carroll! Five-time National Champs!

I'M 40.
I'M A MAN.
- Mike Gundy

and yes....it took me a while, but I got it too. Rolling Stone rhymes better than Sports Illustrated.

Well I needed your hint to get it, and I'm old enough that I should have gotten it.

We sing about beauty and we sing about truth
For 10,000 dollars a show.

Can anyone confirm that these are the correct lyrics? It sounds right to me, but I'm not positive.
