What's going on with the Griz? I thought they were to do well this year...

Not very disciplined this year especially at the guard spot. They are taking shots way to quick and not working it into the Strait and Hasquet. Tinkle wants to go inside first then kick out. At times the guards are just launching way to early, settling for med % shots instead of high 5 shots. They are also choking a little at the end of game. Rundles who was freshman of the year last year at the point is also a mere shell of himself this year.

A road loss at Pacific is not unusual. Didn't Pacific beat Nevada just before we played Nevada?

Right now I see the Big Sky being a tight race between Portland State, NAU, Montana, and our own steadily improving Bobcats!

Agreed. With that win yesterday, you won't be flying below the radar long. Great win.

I also agree there is no shame in a Big Sky school taking Pacific into over time at home before losing. From what I hear the Griz played one of their best games of the season. The Griz though still need to learn to put teams away, but Tinkle I think has gotten through to them how he wants to play. The Griz have two more very tough road games in front of them before getting to come home. When all is said and done they could end up with a five game losing streak. We are their first conference game in Bozeman and I think they are going to be looking to prove something then. It is going to be a big game.

Pacific has a good basketball team. I watched them 2 years ago in the NCAA first round and they took Boston College to 2 OT's and really should've advanced. I think BC went on to the final four. I wouldn't count the Griz down too far from this loss.

If the Cats can find a way to win on the road we may make a good run at the Big Sky this year. I'll try hard not to think too much about us having former griz on our coaching bench, I guess we'll accept any converts, right??

Man, I cannot agree with this point anymore. It seems like year in and year out, the Griz get tighter than a fat guy's underwear late in games.

I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it- Huse never played for the griz and was an assistant at MSU long before he was an assistant at um. He's a great coach & we're fortunate to have him.

Go Cats!!
