From the uniforms, it's gotta be App State again

Michigan Uniform .............................................. Blue Hen Uniform

(you see, Appalachian State beat Michigan earlier this year, in case you hadn't heard!)

Actually, they went to a lighter blue, so they really don't look like Michigan at all

I watched both games over the weekend and just don't see anyone stopping Edwards and App. St.

To me S. Ill. was definitely the better team on Sat., but they shot themselves in the foot with penalties (2 or 3 TD's called back), a couple muffed FG attempts by the ball holder, etc. I think the Salukis would have been a tougher opponent, but Del. is no slouch team with Flacco-if they can figure out a way to keep Edwards from running rampant like Fri, night it might be a game. As they say, any given Saturday (yea, I know the game is Fri. night). An ASU 3-peat would be a helluva accomplishment though.

App State. For sure.

Deleware's offense should/could keep them in the game, their defense hasn't been anything special this year, that could really hurt them. Armanti won't be phased by playing in the NC b/c he won one last year.

I'll be cheering for Deleware but I think this is App's game to lose.

So if App St. and Ohio State both win, Michigan will have lost to two National Champions in one year. Wonder how many times that has happened?

That is not true. Michigan did not play Hawaii

App has a below average running defense, and the Hens have one of the best backs in the country in Omar Cuff. Combine that with Flacco's arm, and Delaware is going to be a threat every time they touch the ball. Their TE is pretty special too.

But even with a great matchup against App's D, I don't see the Hens being able to stop App, especially Edwards, who is perhaps the most dynamic QB FCS has ever seen.

It will come down to whichever team can make the most stops, and you gotta like Lynch and his clutch plays in the past.

Here's my question:

How does a Blue Hen and a Wolverine end up with the same helmet?

I think I saw a South Park episode on that ... but they were going with an elephant and a pot-bellied pig.

The wonders of natural genetic engineering!

Anyone watching the game....21-0 for Appy, with 8:53 left in the half. So, just as a hypothetical question, how do you think Appy would fare against Hawaii for example?

Congrats to App.St.- they were clearly the NC again. All four top seeds were gone early and the best team won.

BTW, as much as I hate to say it, I think the MEAC officials are worse than the BSC officials (but it's probably a toss up).
