Well, they beat Colorado. He got that part right. But unless Chadron moved up very, very quickly....The last option would be to choose a four-loss team, something the committee has done on rare occasions. It happened last season when the committee picked Montana State, but that was a team that played two FBS games and beat Colorado. Idaho (1995) and Appalachian State (1992) were a couple of other four-loss selections, but those teams also played tough schedules.

Coulson wrong again
Does this guy do ANY research? The website he writes for has last year's schedules and results. Two mouse clicks could have gotten him correct info, and yet he posts something like this in his most recent column:

It really is sad to see how far down the reporting from SportsNetwork has gone for FCS this year. I'll grant that Coulson has been a diehard of IAA/FCS football for a long time, but I much prefered the Tony Moss/Matt Daugherty approach of giving a younger guy that wants to prove something and move up in the journalism world the shot to show how well they could cover our subdivision.
“Arguing with anonymous strangers on the Internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be—or to be indistinguishable from—self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time.” -- Neal Stephenson, Cryptonomicon
