#3 running back for the griz?
Since Lex is questionable and Coleman is in the pokey. Does anyone know anything about the next running back on the depth chart?

TBF started against ISU and should start this weekend if Lex is still out. A Missoula television station reported earlier this week that Reggie Bradshaw, who started most of last year, may see his first action this weekend after getting hurt in the Albany game. Andrew Schmidt from Bozeman and Brandon Utterback from Ft Benton will probably be the backups.Weltercat wrote:I think it's that Thomas Brooks Fletcher kid from Washington.

Somewhere Bobby Daly and Dane Fletcher just smiled.GrizinWashington wrote:TBF led the Griz in yards last year. He's no Lex, but he's a very capable runner. The primary reason he hasn't seen much playing time is because he has struggled in pass protection.

I think Brooks-Fletcher is pretty good. He is no Crawford or Mason, but I think he is a better runner than Lex is this year. I just don't think Lex was ever at 100% though. I think our D will have a great day stopping the run, except when it is Berquist running when he should be passing. That could be a problem. I have seen him have a few good scrambles this year when D's are playing the pass.
Punters are people too!!

"Struggled" are you kidding me?GrizinWashington wrote:TBF led the Griz in yards last year. He's no Lex, but he's a very capable runner. The primary reason he hasn't seen much playing time is because he has struggled in pass protection.
He is hands down the absolute worst pass blocker in the country. This includes all football players above the 8th grade level.
cat fans I challenge you to watch TBF when he is in the backfield. If you don't think he actually helps your defense when he's back ther please swing back to this thread and call me a liar.

Be prepared for anyone. Lex might return, I hear he's a game-time decision, as is Reggie Bradshaw who hasn't played since the 4th week of the season.
TBF will not be in on pass blocking plays, as Alpha states, the guy cannot do it. If Lex and Reggie can't go, expect either a local kid, Andrew Schmidt or Lorin Utterback.
