BSC Champs??

Post by poorgriz » Sat Oct 27, 2007 7:04 pm

Well, Griz are going to be all alone in first place and will once again win the Big Sky outright. At least we can look forward to another spanking by the Griz in Bozeman, back to the days of the old I guess.

If you can't win 'em all, at least beat the Griz! And always leave positive comments......

i think that is 2 early to say that - especially since there seems to be no big sky team that is dominating anyone. dont look at um's record - only look at how they won at sac state.

and also we are undefeated at home... :D

Well, I think it's too early to say that the Griz will win in Bozeman. But the part about UM being conference champions again looks pretty solid.

Last year was supposed to be a lopsided affair and the final score was 13-7, I wouldn't get too down on yourselves yet.

Griz need to win 1 out of three for at least a share
2 or 3 out of three for an outright win

the only thing that the griz do . . .

is win games they should. congrats griz - i'm now convinced they are a good team (still don't have enough to win the chipper, but a good team).

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Agreed, good teams find ways to keep on winning. Quite frankly with the talent back east I see the Griz as very lucky to make it just to the semi finals.

You might be surprised. If the griz have home field all the way through the playoffs and can stay healthy they could certainly beat someone like NH or Delaware on a neutral field IMHO.

This may be the year that I'm able to cheer for two Montana teams in Tennessee.

A healthy Lex makes a HUGE difference for the Griz. Two weeks ago I would have said no way in hey do the Griz see Nooga. Now, with Lex, I could see it happening.

It was great to see Lex have a good game. Kind of a funny quote from BH:
Bobby Hauck wrote:“He feels good, finally,” Hauck said of his tailback, who missed last season after Achilles surgery and was slowed some this year by injuries. “At halftime I pulled him aside and told him we were going to ride him like a borrowed mule. I said, ‘We're going to go until you can't go anymore and then we're going to give you a drink and make you go some more.'

“That's what we did. And he went and carried us, along with his big buddies up front.”
