Beating Griz fans into submission for over 5 years.

Proof that even the dumb ones come around and admit a bad thing when they see it.

I just finished watching the Griz game against EWU.

The offensive scheme is so bad I give up and won't comment on how inept it is.

The thing I like the most is that the majority of Griz fans are now pissed off about our offense like I have been for the last 4 years. They are saying all the things I have said and other fans are not taking the beating for it because it is finally getting through to those slower than a fans that Phen-Phen sucks at his job.

Now next week they go to Suck St and may actualy get some points on the board agaisnt that team. Then they will all be happy that it is coming together and "the team is starting to gel".

Then it will be back to sucking it up for the rest of the year and getting hammered in the playoffs AGAIN!

It's so exciting to be a Griz fan when you know the script is already written and there is no hope in the near future.

You're right. Winning week in and week out really sucks.

Typical response.

Without being the idiot I know you are, please answer me this Einstein.

Is it ok with you to win all your regular season games and get bounced in the playoffs every year?

Is it not OK to be upset that we eak by and never improve during the season and get bounced early in the playoffs?

I think "winning week in and week out" the way we do is very telling.

I have gone on record before as saying that I would rather have an exciting team to watch that loses every once in awhile but dominates at the end of the year when it matters than one that wins ugly and loses in the playoffs.

If your happy losing in the playoffs every year than you picked the right team to bandwagon on.

grow a sack alpha and quit bitching. the semis dont exactly qualify as early in the playoffs. neither does the championship game.

Hauck's lost in the 1st round in only 2003 & 2005, in 2004 he won 3 playoff games and in 2006 he won 2. So your statement of getting bounced early only happend twice in four years, the other two times he went deep. Mick Dennehey got bounced early more often than Bobby.

Whatever.

The NC run was a fluke and you know it. He had a team loaded with Glenn talent and 3 of the top seeded teams lost in the first round.

You guys keep supporting mediocrity but Hauck isn't capable of winning a title with this offensive system. We have the horses they are just hobbled.

You could also argue Read's 1995 NC the same way, the top teams lost, keeping the Griz at home. However you chose to ignore that just to rip on Hauck. Also some of the talent that got the Griz there was actually Hauck's guys, many on defense, that was the year a lot of freshman and sophmores were playing like Tuff Harris, Jimmy Wilson, Torrey Thomas, Van Cooper Jr, Tyler Joyce, Mukie Foreman & Matt Lebsock. Also Justin Green was a transfer brought in by Hauck, and guys like Lex and Ochs had the choice to go elsewhere before the 2003 season but chose to stick with Montana.

I see you're also not addressing last year, was that a fluke? If the Griz had a running game (Lex) they would have been in the NC, but I don't think they would've beat Appy once they got there.

Last year was same old same old crap offense.

There was no way in hell they were getting to the National Championship game even with Lex at 100%. The defense was amazing but defense doesn't win championships alone. You need some kind of offense and we haven't had it, won't get it and will never have it as long as certian people are in charge.

You can compare and pick stats all you want but the fact remains BH and Co don't get it done when it matters. More and more people are statring to see that after 5 years of following the flock.

So what is your opinion on Don Read taking 10 years to win it
-Losing in the first round in `93 with arguably a better team than `95

No comparison.

First of all Read built this program into what it was when BH took over, since then it has regressed in amny ways.

I never left a Read game thinking what is up with our offense. Read's teams were inversely proportional to HAuCKs teams on offense.

During Read's tenure for every one game when the offense wasn't clicking they had 9 or 10 that did.

During HAuCK's tenure for every one game the offense looks so so they have 9 or 10 that don't look good at all.

Even when we lost to Deleware in 93 in OT. It was a great game to watch and you knew we would be back next year not a big deal.

Now with HAuCK you walk out with a bunch of confuzed thoughts in your head wondering what the hell just happened you leave the stadium feeling like you lost even though the scoreboard says differently.

Read's teams scored TD's and put points on the board.

HAuCK's teams play hard to get into FG range and it's ok to settle for FG's.

They don't try to score TD's and if they do they really suck at coaching because it looks like they are happy with the FG if we even get into that position.

Nick you can go and pull this crap with someone else but the fact is that Read, Dennehy and Glenn keep us in the NC hunt every year against better competition.

Hauck ensures the best case scenario is crawling into the playoffs and losing.

5 years of bad offense is 5 years of bad offense any way you look at it.

Hey, I was just over checking out the dark pink board and there are a lot of people sounding like AG1 over there this week. Maybe they will take you back AG1, or have you done somthing besides bitch about the OC and BH over there to piss them off.

Not really intending any smack (except the dark pink stuff), just kind of an observation.

I know they are and what's really funny is they are not being bashed about it like I was.

They will just come back with the "Yeah well if you say something long enough your bound to be right" and "your just looking to say I told you so"

Another interesting thing is that Ronblow and his minnion GF10 are oddly absent over there so far this week. Could it be they are smart enough to know they can't spin this sh*t anymore? People are onto them it just took 3-4 years for them to catch up.

Lots of sheep escaping the flock over there, I wonder where the shepherds are?

Oh and one last thing, I never did anything over there other than bi*tch about the Rob & Bob show. I can not say the same thing for my friends though.

Ok - first of all - the whole "weaker competition thing" most of the scheduling we have had in the last 2 seasons was put together by Read, which was common during his coaching tenure. In 1995 the Griz played Eastern New Mexico, UC Davis, and Minnesota-Duluth.....So keep trying on that one.

Mick Dennehy only advanced past the first round of the playoffs once.

Yeah the Delaware game was great because we put points on the board but we LOST because, as was Griz tradition in the 90s - offense was all we built our team around and the defense gave up an average of 4-500 yards per game. Even little ol Eastern New Mexico had 344 yards rushing on us in 1995. Offensive showpower and sending five wide every play just doesn't get it done anymore.

Alpha, I have a question for you: When you poop your pants do you blame Bobby Hauck?
