The kid sounds pretty impressive.

But look at one of the posts that says he transfered due to personal and disciplinary reasons. I find it VERY interesting that Bobby would do this, given all that has happened recently at UM and MSU......but I don't know the kid, or the disciplinary issues.

Why take the chance no matter the circumstances.

It is also telling that he would bring in more defense. He knows his offense is horrible and the only way he wins this year is if they get it done on defense. More smoke and mirrors.

Compton CA? Disciplinary reasons? Sounds like THE NOSE is getting pretty darn desperate/worried. Hopefully he checked for warrants this time. And to think Griz fans were calling us Bozangeles HAHAHA. Wasn't Parks from California as well? Whatever it takes Bobby!

Looks like he has at least 4 years of eligibility......plenty of time to go back home and shoot somebody.....or at the very least terrorize Missoula.

OK let me explain something to you about Bobby Hauck....... He does not care because it is never his fault!! Bobby never does anything wrong. He believes he can change a kid in his program if he has a discipline problems. If a kid screws up it is not Haucks fault, he did every thing he could for the kid. There is always an excuse. Hauck has not and will not change his recruiting habits it will not matter how many people complain or players are arrested, and to make things worse O'Day does nothing but enable his behavior, by never holding him responsible for anything. Bobby is the King in the Athletic department, O'Day is like that little puppy in cartoon who is always jumping around the big dogs feet agreeing with every thing Bobby says. The fans and Booster believe Bobby can do no wrong as long as he wins.

Look at what happened last week when a reporter asked him about the chop block. A smart coach would have expressed some sympathy towards the player, and reassured the reporter that his program was clean. Hauck attacked Weber State. It is not my fault, but look how bad Weber is!!

Hauck does not care what anyone says it is his program no body else's and he is deeply offended when anyone calls him out on it. He runs it the way he wants to safely in the bubble that UM has created for him.

BTW: Watch when Hauck leaves everyone who is now supporting him will rip him open from top to bottom.

BTW2: This will most likely get me banned from Egriz...... Oh well!!

Exactly. That was pretty pathetic comments back from him after the Weber game. Sounded like a spoiled little brat kid. No sympathy or anything. Very CLASSY.

This from the fans that supported Mr. Clean to the death for years because he was giving the Griz a run. I think the word for fans that have one standard for themselves and another for everyone else is..........I'm sure you guys are familar.

I'm not gonna throw stones towards the Griz for this exact reason. However considering you and many other Griz fans continually got on Cat fans for defending his actions doesn't that mean you should be speaking out against recruiting questionable characters by Hauck now? Or does that word your thinking of apply to you also?

I guess jagur1 is saying that they learned nothing from our experience.
I guess he is also saying that they learned nothing from their experience (Wilson, Freeman, Quinn).

But as I said in the original post...I have no idea what the disciplinary issue was/is. It may be nothing at all.....but just the fact that it is mentioned looks bad. And as we know from the SI article, right now appearance is important.

See Egriz. Yes, I say I'm getting tired of drop downs and tired of the sad hatred that cat fans have built up over the years towards the Griz.

On your first point (drop downs), I applaud you for standing up for what you think is right.
On your second point (Cat hatred), maybe you shouldn't come on BOBCATNATION and try to turn every post into a smack post.

This post is WAAAAAAAAYYYY out of line.

Mods, please comment. I know you do not allow rumors concerning players. How about COMPLETELY baseless posts about a player this poster knows NOTHING about contending they will commit a horrific crime.

This poster should be banned. IMHO.

What I don't get is the comparison --

What's worse

1) Going home and shooting someone
2) Terrorizing Missoula

I'd say #2, yet he puts it as "the very least."
