Hasn't this gimmick jumped the shark yet?
Further, has the phrase "jumped the shark" jumped the shark yet? Surely you can't be serious. Don't call me Shirley!

Just goes to show that the same 12 or 15 schools have fans who are more interested in a costumed college student jumping and prancing around rather than watching the sporting event that they paid good money to see. I like Champ and all and think he's great for the kids, but personally I don't care if he's seen during game time at all. Leave the pageantry to pre-game, halftime, and post-game, and focus on football for the 60 minutes its played. JMO.

I couldn't agree more. I suppose I am going to have to listen to another year of how clever Monte is over at UM.Bay Area Cat wrote:Ugh ... they're doing that stupid thing again?
Is this in reference to Fonzy jumping the shark in Happy Days just before Happy Days went downhill?Bay Area Cat wrote:Hasn't this gimmick jumped the shark yet?
