We want your opinion. Which of the following teams that did not make the SME Network Preseason Top 25 do you feel will cause the most damage? Central Arkansas, Georgia Southern, Lehigh, Liberty, Northern Arizona, Texas State, Towson, or UC Davis.

I'm gonna go with UC Davis. Not really sure what all they have coming back but despite an up and down season last year they had some real talent on that ball club.

Man, that's tough. I think arguments could be made for any and all of those teams, but in particular Ga So, UCD and NAU. I guess my vote would be NAU, but in the interest of full-disclosure, I'll admit to some "west-coast bias".

However, I think the team on that list that will open the most eyes will be Central Arkansas.

Gotta agree with you on that one. I think they will immediatly compete in the Southland.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I'm gonna say Towson or Davis. Both have a good core of solid players, and both showed some great moments last year towards the end of the season.

Sorry NAU.

I gotta tell you I am very worries about playing Central Arkansas at thier home stadium in their first Southland Conference game. I think they will be competitive but they did loose a lot to graduation and are starting a lot of new people this year. We at Texas State know all too well from our 2005 losses and the dismal 2006 season that followed that starting a lot of new players isn't always a good thing.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say GSU (although Towson, Davis and UCA are all solid). I just think that they got the right guy with Hatcher and are hungry to get back to the glory days. ASU/GSU at Kidd Brewer is gonna be a fun one, especially after a 3-8 GSU team gave App all they could handle in Statesboro last year.
