Not quite college sports, but...

Missed Sosa's 600th homer by 24 hours.

I'm the guy on the right trying to catch the middle-deck homer with his Bobcats ball cap (completely whiffing), while the guy next to me bare hands it (his vision blocked by my ball cap trying to catch it) and doesn't spill a drop of his beer he's holding in his other hand. True story.

Mebbe I can get A-Rod's or Junior's 600th.

I'd like to see this, but I can't make out a Bobcats hat (or any other hat)on anyone.

Yeah, unfortunately the quality's not the greatest.

It was pretty sweet, though, to be sitting where we were and then suddenly see a homer coming right at you.

Almost caught a foul ball, too, the next night when Sammy did hit his 600th.

Good thing you weren't sitting next to my wife... :D We were in Seattle for Edgar's induction into the Mariner's Hall of Fame. We had seats in left field, a home run ball comes our way, hits a seat two rows behind us (the guy had just left to grab a beer and whined about it the rest of the game when he got back), bounces back down our way and lands right at my wife's feet. She bends over to grab it, the guy sitting directly in front of her reaches over his seat, grabs the ball, and she stomps on his hand. We didn't get the ball, but he's probably regretting he grabbed for it. I could see a faint impression of her size 9 in his hand. I sure do love her.... haha
