MSU hoodie prior to the game. The problem was it was hot an hour before kickoff, so the hoodie came quickly, but not before some good-natured ribbing from the tailgates we visited. The game itself was impressive. If the Griz give Swogger time, he will be successful. Allen, Bagley, little #8, and finally Chambers all will produce if the line can give them time. Sacto seemed to give up early, but the asskicking by the Griz was reminiscent of many other games I saw there in the mid '90s.GrizinWashington wrote:So Papa, what was the final verdict? Did you wear cat wear? Did you take grief (which I sincerely hope you didn't)? Did you enjoy the game?
All in all, the crowd still is loud, the Griz have dominant athletes, and section 105, Rows 3-5 still gave me crap every time the Bobcat score was announced on Saturday. The Stocks was after the game, and some Griz fans did a mock burning of my MSU hoodie. Dinner was at Finn and Porter, so the hoodie didn't make that scene.
We're going to the PSU/UM game next Saturday at PGE Park as well. Two Griz games this year; zero 'Cat games. The football gods are mocking me.

I'll be there with about 5000 other people. That tailgate area is way too small for the Griz fans that make the every other year trek to Portland.GrizinWashington wrote:Papa, that's all good stuff! (I had to laugh a little about you taking some guff whenever the cat score was announced).
I'll be in PDX also. Come by the Alumni Association's tailgate. Always a good time and always enough beer.
Getting a beer is like going to the DMV.
