Do tell…..? Your program has gone steadily from one dumpsterfire to another before the last one is out! There are undoubtedly some great fans, players and families involved with that program but the stench of the bad actors clings to all. Get the burning garbage over the hill under control and then come preach about the issues over here!1890Griz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 1:21 pmBoth programs have their issues.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 12:10 pmWhere's Hooked to tell us how broken our program is and how Booby is bringing back rtd.

Re: Jace Lewis throws shade.
If former players are saying this kind of stuff about little Bobby, what are the current players thinking? I bet it's just awkward. Probably many are glad the season is done and little Bobby is leaving. Unless he comes back as a grad assistant coach. If so the transfer portal may see a flood!

Mkay. So Booby's favoritism/nepotism is the same as Garza getting a dui? He's gone, there's consequences for screwing up in Bozeman.
Have fun watching us play for the Natty again.

Yes, we have one coach that made a big mistake. But I look more at how each team plays on a consistent basis. Both teams have good kids. But MSU plays 99.9% clean without any dirty stuff. We win with class. um plays consistently after the whistle and always with as much extracurricular stuff as possible. That is obviously how they are coached. Um loses without class. NDSU saw it just like every other Big Sky team sees it. I will take our coaches over um’s coaches any day, 365 days per year.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 3:08 pmMkay. I usually root for Griz alumni to make it in the league, because I think it's good for the state and the BSC, but I can make an exception for Robby.

I’d be happy to have him on my team that plays on Sunday!Oldpanther wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 9:28 amThere is a thread on egis wondering if Robby will play on Sundays.![]()
We play at the rec center at 2PM, half court, we allow one player under 45 per team. We currently don’t have an under 45 guy, so he’s welcome to join us!

From the most recent article on 406 Sports...
"The loss also put an end to the unique six-year experience that Bobby and Robby shared together. The inevitable finality of it all had likely been the elephant in the room between the two as the year moved on, and now it’s arrived.
That father-son dynamic is rare at the NCAA Division I level, so Robby made sure to encourage Matt Entz, NDSU’s head coach, to not take it for granted.
Matt has his freshman son Kellen, a wide receiver, on his team for their first year together.
“I had the coolest experience ever and there’s very few people who can experience that and that’s what I told coach (Matt Entz) afterwards,” Robby said. “I said to enjoy the next five years with your son and your team because it is something special to be coached by your father and be truly invested in his success … it’s been so much fun.”
I've never been a fan of parents coaching their kids. It happens more often in high school I think, and generally is more negative than positive.

We also have a rookie hockey league up here that plays on Sundays…except I’m afraid he’d beat Happy Gilmore’s record and take off his skate and try to stab two people (well, he’d actually jump on the pile late, but change the stats to take Happy’s record).JDoub wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 7:37 pmI’d be happy to have him on my team that plays on Sunday!Oldpanther wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 9:28 amThere is a thread on egis wondering if Robby will play on Sundays.![]()

I coached my son in youth wrestling, when he got to Jr. High, I told him they were his coaches. I had to keep my opinions to myself after that, but the relationship with him was far better being a dad than a coach.nanacat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 8:29 pmFrom the most recent article on 406 Sports...
