I did hear from a friend, that heard from a friend that had his friend tell him that he saw on the internet that VA made his decision based on the promotion.....

But it would have been interesting to see how the "new defense" may have handled him. Which known QB's/offenses will now be the biggest challenge? Idaho State, Cal Poly, ETC.....

So MSU is breaking in a new defense, um has a new coach and now um idaho state and ewu will have newqbs. I woukd have to say the best bets for offseason favorites for the big sky now has to be cal poly and msu. I would much rather have a new defense than a new qb but baldwin has always been able to rrplace qbs very well

He must have got some assurances or something that he would be named the starter, otherwise why go?

Yeah, I'm sure there weren't guarantees spoken, but I'm sure they framed it as him having a "very, very, very good chance" to be the starter.

That's what I would think BAC, some quiet words on the side, you got a really good shot at starting, you are probably the most athletic QB we have if you transfer in.

Unless EWU has a number of injuries as they did the year following their National Championship, I doubt if they miss a beat.They usually do well on the road and with only five home games next year, us being one I don't think I'm going to pick a favorite. My darkhorse for next year is North Dakota though.

I hope VA lights the PAC up next year. I stated someplace I don't think there's been back to back differen Heisman winners from the same school since two of the three Army winners in the 40s. How cool would it be to see a kid be runner up for one of the small college awards twice, go to the highest level and win it?

Gross. Glad he's gone from ewoo, but as an Oregonian, this is terrible.

I still find it hard to believe that Oregon hasn't recruited a better QB to slot in behind Mariota.
