I have no freaking clue. Adams has shown that he can be rattled/inconsistent but is capable of video-game numbers when hot. UM is an enigma, getting trounced at home by a one dimensional (running) NAU team and should have lost to a one dimensional (running) CPSLO team. Yet we know they have a less than satisfactory Pass D, and EWOO usually chucks the rock. I picked UM in the Big Sky Pickem game just because they are at home (not that that has meant a whole lot in the past few years). If I were a betting man, this is a game I wouldn't bet on, no matter the spread, etc. - just too unpredictable. I'll definitely be interested to hear the final score in this one.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

This is rediculous, stay with the topic. It's a kid being a kid. Nothing more.
OFFS. Leave it to this guy ltcf to insert his politics into this thread. No one said they felt threatened by Adams post. Just that it shows a level of immaturity.

He did not mention politics, only attitudes. So if you want to complain about the kids maturity, that would also have to be the compaint with ltcf. The post might not show good taste, or be smart by giving bulletin board material, but I don't really think it reveals his maturity, unless you want to read that into the kids post.

I didn't say he mentioned politics. And, yes, it's immature IMO to dink around on twitter if you're the QB of a team prior to a game. I don't think it was in poor taste. It was just a couple icons representing killing a bear ie EWU beating um. I have no problem with that if it comes from a fan.

Getting back on topic. If you think MSU has trouble with the spread/read option take a look at EWU vs um and SHSU.

2011 vs um 316 yards rushing 6.9 per (MSU 309, 6.6)
2012 vs um 407 and 6.7 (MSU 168, 4.4)
2012 vs SHSU 418, 6.4 (MSU 204, 4.0)
2013 vs SHSU 450, 8.3

I bet they're glad um changed their offense.

The only person overreacting is you. No one showed any sign of acting like they were threatened, but you overreacted to statements of immaturity and poor taste by calling that feeling threatened and inserting your politics. Now you're resorting to name calling. Good job. Way to represent!

I don't think it's a big deal either, but it's very different from the picture of McGhee because he posted it himself. That makes it bulletin board material. I don't think DM made that picture of him standing behind the dead bear, so nobody can get mad at him.

You're right. It's different in that respect. The point of each is symbolism. Both are quarterbacks and both have been referred to as gunslingers. Everybody knows the weakness of the Griz defense is their secondary. In both instances, the implication is that they are going to beat the Griz with their gun, also known as throwing arm.

But some see a gun and think OH MY GOD how dare he use a gun, and see it as a sign of immaturity. But whatever, some people can't see past their nose.

Not to toot my own horn but I think I almost nailed this one \:D/

I'm not even sure he tweeted that, it sounded like someone else may have done it. At any rate, very minor deal IMO, just college kids playing around before a huge game. I don't know whether or not this indicates a lack of maturity or not, but it certainly doesn't indicate that he's afraid to play in Wa\Griz and he's going to wilt when the game starts, even if he did tweet that. My bet is that he plays well.
Adams destroyed the Griz defense in their house. He made them look silly and it had to be embarrassing for the Griz D. I figured I better get on here and toot my own horn after trying to convince Cat Bracket and Tom that Adams wasn't going to melt down in WA-Griz. :-^

You were right. Congrats. In my defense I didn't realize Goodwin was out. I hear Counts got hurt early.
