Heh, alternatively, could claim that this game isn't going to tell us much about either UM or App State.

I'd be apt to assume that actually.

Oh how I hate to say it but the griz look like the class of the FCS right now. The O-line blowing up the D-line of App and a swarming defense. As a cat fan, I'd be scared. Too bad the cats opened with another patsy team. The Griz are for real, the cats we still don't know about. Dangit!

Trayvon Van looks real good, as does JJ and the griz D. ASU just changed QBs on that last scoring drive, so we'll see what happens now.

ASU looked terrible that first half and not because of the griz D.

The griz look pretty good (some mistakes), but to crown them the cream of the FCS after watching NDSU and EWU - only a griz homer would say something like "the class of the FCS".

Kind of surprised how bad App State looks. Mental mistakes all over the place. Griz look okay- not conference champ form. Best guess, they win 7 or 8.

App State didn't even get off the plane. They made the griz look good. I mean, App just phoned it in; no effort or hustle. griz have some hogs in the trenches, which seemed to help significantly. Kind of shaky otherwise. Lots of run plays.

In other news, did I see that Northern Iowa beat Iowa State? Another FCS team beats an FBS team!?

If EWU's offense plays like that every week, they'll be tough to beat. The EWU vs UM game is going to be a good one, if they both play like they did yesterday.
