I'm Shocked...

I remember something like a 36-10 stat when he was at the helm as well.
...Or did the D score all those points?
2012 cat-Griz was the same senario minus a QB...

2009 Griz- 46% 3rd down pct.
2012 SHSU- 46% 3rd down pct. while MSU was 47%. who had the better team?

To many other factors. 3rd down pct. alone doesn't mean ******.

Throw out all the stats you want. Discredit the fact JJ was limping the first half of the year.
Like it or not JJ is the best QB Montana has had since DD.
Well, your homeboy Kyle is the one that brought up 3rd down pct., not 2506. But whatever, the main flaw in your post is the 36-10 stat. That was a team effort, not a JJ one-man show. In fact JJ was mediocre in that game, but you got a great game from your defense and special teams, offensive line and RBs.
I was just explaining to egriz perennial troll of the year 2506 why 3rd down pct. without figuring in multiple other factors means jack s*** in terms of judging a QB or team for that matter.
2011 Griz had a worse overall 3rd down pct. than 2011 MSU... Go Figure

I don't think that 36-10 score in '11 would've happend under the helm of Tmac or SSH.
By cat-griz '12 Montana was playing sound defense. O-line & RB play were never a problem. Montana's offense just had the same
problem it had all year; counldn't put points on the board when they got close hense demoralizing the team...

JJ isn't only a good QB but a great leader that makes everyone around him play better.
Our QB's last year not so much....
That 85 yard pass he delivered on the money right after half-time in cat-griz '11 would have definitely been off target with Tmac or SSH.

It's just nice to finaly get some good news in GrizzlyVille.

I'm sure it is nice, but...
I was just trying to explain to you that it was Kyle Sample (proud Griz Fan and Bozeman Chronicle sportswriter) that brought up UM being better on 3rd down when JJ was playing. 2506 was just trying to show that it probably wasn't that big of a factor and you seem to agree. So maybe your anger would be better directed at your teammate Kyle.

JJ's TD pass play covered 79 yards, not 85, and the ball was in the air for about 50 yards and it appeared that he put everything he had into it. It was slightly underthrown causing both Fuller and Sambrano to tap the brakes. Sambrano made a good play on the ball and Fuller apparentl lost it because he was in perfect position to knock it down or intercept it.
