To say nothing of your "rival's" fan base still smarting over a 36-10 beat down.
You could've won 72-0 and this fan still wouldn't want to trade places with you. Your comment reeks of win at all cost, but you probably don't realize that, so I thought I'd point it out for you. :P

I'm sure he learned his lesson after missing no practices and no games.
For those of you who are criticizing UM's coaches for this -- if it's true that Kemp's "rules violation" was violating the "no Twitter" rule, what do you think the punishment should have been?

My understanding is that he was indefinitely suspended, and was reinstated after he agreed to follow the rule. If he had not so agreed, then presumably he would not have been allowed back on the team. Personally, I don't think that's a bad result, but you guys seem to think differently...so how do you think it should have been handled?
If his only infraction had been the Twitter thing, I doubt we'd be having much of a discussion on this as he probably wouldn't have been so-called "suspended" in the first place and it never would've made the news. He was probably suspended because he was on a short leash due to getting a citation for peeing in public and for disorderly conduct. Suspended usually means you're not allowed to do something, like attend formal practices or play in games. Kemp's suspension came after spring ball and was lifted, coincidentally(?), prior to the first fall practice.

This incident, primarily the way it was handled, is part of the win at all cost culture of college football. UM administrators and coaches apparently don't understand how crazy this looks to the average person on the street. They understand that Kemp will help them win games and having him at all practices enhances their ability to do that. I think most people would be satisfied if he'd sat out a week or two of practice, but the apparent win at all cost culture at UM has clouded the decision-making of those in charge.
Yep, the win at all cost culture certainly has been beneficial to Kemp. Just look at his numbers, he leads the team in: wildcat formation snaps, qb lined up as a decoy wideout and signalling plays in from the sidelines (perhaps your coaches should study him and steal our signals)

Its unethical and even if you could doesn't mean you should.

Kemp also leads the team in tasings, parties responded to by police and jail house sightings......just trying to be fair and unbalanced here.......................

Yes. I'm "part of the problem". You must be one of those collectivist, "it's a society issue" types. I'm not. Carry on.

In his defense, he's been very vocal about his dislike of the situation from the get-go; he gets it, unlike some of the grizidiots that post here (mousegriz, for one). However, he's still an unabashed griz fan, so of course he's still going to act like one.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
