The Hauck rumors are laughable.....What has he ever done to deserve the hype? Nothing before the griz job, maintained an already successful program same as Glenn & Dennehy that even I could keep on top, 2 home outs in the playoffs,....? Personally I think the rumors are classic agent looking for a raise manuevers.

I think Wulf is a better coach - amazing what he continues to do at EWU - easily the best team in the Big Sky the past 3 or 4 years. Personally, I don't think either will be stepping up.
I am not going to argue who is the better coach and more likely to get the WSU job, but, "EWU- easily the best team in the Big Sky the past 3 or 4 years"???.....During the past 4 years, the Griz were 27-3 in conference. The Eagles were 20-10. :? I think it is pretty clear which was the better team.
Maybe he should have said the best coached team.......
I might add that the Griz have had by far the best talent in the Big Sky conference, I do not think it is even close, but over the years I do not think they have gotten as much out of their players as EWU and MSU has.
Aren't you forgetting that Booby said MSU was the most talented team in the BSC this season? If Booby says it....it must be true, right????

The coaching fraternity is extremely small and tight knit; I actually don't care where Hauck winds up but he's been a finalist for some excellent programs and his name appears on virtually every short list, including Nebraska. You have to remember Kelly turned the Grizzlies down to remain at the DII level before going to Central Michigan and then on to Cincinnati.

I'm kind of torn because I know Missoula is the kiss of death for head coaches, yet I would like to see somebody besides all of the Sweeney products move on to bigger and better things from this state.

Just as it appears new-weasel has matured, I assume Hauck has grown up finally. Wish him well and congratulations for his continuance of that other places recent run of success. He's certainly contributed to their nearly 30 percent win total, all of which happened in the last 20 years by the way.

No names are given, but an interesting article about CSU's search process. It sure is a lot different than ours!

The only reason that he said that was because his players were busted the week before...
