Anyways, I think a lot of people like the Griz when they aren't playing the Cats, and vice versa. I do

When was he on the Colbert Report??
Link??
That's sweet.

What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck. I can't remember how it ends but your mother's a whore.

I agree with you. I was half joking when I started this thread, but it still irritates me a little bit. But I do like that he is a Cat fan for that one day of the year. And I do realize what Brian has to do for his job, so don't take this TOO seriously.

If he wants to commit political suicide he could pick one team from montana or outlaw hunting. Either one would get the some result politically.

I am a Bobcat fan and a Republican. I cursed when I saw Schweitzer in Griz clad but when he said he is a Bobcat first I can accept it. I can't picture President Ford wearing OSU Buckeye gear in Ohio, or even President G.W. Bush wearing Texas A.M. gear either. Would Gov. Raciott sport Oredigger duds? It must be a personal decision made by the individual. I like the Gov. but wish he was sporting a nice blue and gold suit.

Yep, that is what he meant. POLITICS people. You have to try and please as many people as you can to win office. The every day but one quote pretty much says he is a Cat fan.

I'm a University of Montana and a Montana State University grad. So, I should win any election in a landslide, with the combined power of both alumni associations.
I voted for Schweitzer (twice), but I'm not letting him claim the Griz fan tag.

I remember a couple of years ago at the Homecoming parade, when he was running for governor, he was booed....

Hey, then you should have said, "Brian Schweitzer is 'half' a joke!"

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.
