Emmert's Dad played in Billings, not Bozeman- but does like Kramer. Mr. Emmert actually played with Kane's Dad Cass

Which takes us back to the point that Carrol would beat the kittens because Central Washington beat the Big Sky Champs at homecoming ( 7-6 kittens ) and Carrol beat Central Washington.........................
One MAJOR IMPORTANT THING you are missing here. LULAY did not play in that game but the game after. The rest is history :)

So if you guys want to go there, well UM lost to Helena High in 1898, so you are officially the worst team in the history of college football. sheesh!

Never mistake activity for accomplishment.

I'm pretty sure that Mr. Emmert also coached w/ Kramer at Helena High School. They know each other quite well, and it seems that Mr. Emmert has nothing but good things to say about Kramer.

Who really gives a rats ... whether Emmert is the best QB in the State or not? He's having a GREAT career at Carroll, and I'd be willing to bet that he wouldn't trade that experience for QBing at MSU or um. One thing is for sure, he'd probably be better than anybody um has put on the field at QB the last 2 years.

I went to school the same time as John Emmert. He played highschool ball in Kalispell, played in the Shrine game and was on scholarship at MSU in 1968, although I don't remember him playing as a senior. If he did play at Eastern, he transferred late in his college career because he was in Bozeman for at least two years.

Dammit!!! 30 short days and this would have been an official ten-year bump.

As it is now, it's just another bumped thread. I hate to see such potential go to waste.

Hats for bats. Keeps bats warm.
