I hope he knows that the feelings are mutual. From everything I have heard his brother is a good level headed kid but Ryan Leaf is a class A tool.

Oh yeah, totally believe you on this one. I don't think Leaf is much of a Griz fan (the NFL flop Leaf). He lives in the shadow of Dave in his old high school, his own state, and guess what, Dave didn't make the NFL (especially as the #1 worst draft pick in NFL history), but he's still playing football. ANYHOW, Leaf has DICKenson envy and has a hard time understanding why a WSU Rose Bowler can't get any home state love. I'll tell you why... attitude. He's a good teacher though of what not to be.

Leaf won't be starting for the Ducks next year nor the year after. He will be playing second fiddle to Dennis Dixon. Unless Bellotti wants to keep the musical chairs Qb going, Dixon will be starting over Leaf from here on out and they are both sophomores right now (or maybe even redshirt freshmen). Oregon also has 2 QB verbals this season so far. At this point, I think it's safe to say Brady won't be transferring this upcoming season. If he gets little to no playing time next season with Oregon and the new QB's overtake him in the depth chart, then look for him to transfer. He definitely won't transfer at this point, especiallly wiht the possibility that Oregon could make a very decent bowl not only this year but next year as well.

Didn't the Ducks beat um this year??? The Ducks are simply a bigger and better football program than the griz. PERIOD. Oh yeah, NFL possibilities are better at UO.

You can bad mouth Brady Leaf all you want and the griz can wish all they want for Brady to transfer to um, but Brady knows he soon will be the man at UO. Besides, give Brady some credit for learning from Ryan's public relations mistakes. Brady stays a Duck.
Steelhead is right... The ducks have a bigger and better program than the Griz and an astronomically bigger program than the Cats. Why would he go IAA.

No chance. Quarterback controversy for the Ducks, but frankly Leaf is looking better than Dixon right now. In addition Dixon weighs about 160 and will wear down over a season. Leaf will be playing at U of O for 2 more years.

He will be playing for them I agree. If he is looking better than Dixon right now, then why has Dixon been getting the starting nod over Leaf since clemens went down?

Correct me if Im wrong, but I watched the game last weekend between UO and WSU, and It seemed that Leaf played much more than Dixon...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Dixon has been starting, Leaf has finished. As I said quarterback controversy. The point is that Leaf will not leave Oregon for MSU if he has a fair chance to play / start.

After the way Griz fans were piling on him at Egriz prior to the Oregon game, I now find it hilarious that they would be excited for him to come play in Missoula.

You know what gets me, is that this state which loves football so much, can actually say they hate Ryan Leaf. This is the man who put this state on the map for a while. How of you guys can say that you have actually seen a Hesiman Candidate play, or the second pick in the draft play. It isn't his fault he had a horrible situation he was going into. Yeah he made some mistakes but how dare any of you rip him. Sitting back on your sofa, fat and happy. This guy was something special and this is how you guys treat him. And then stereotype his brother. As a junior, Hartman goes down and came back for the state semis. Who led the state in passing during that time? Brady Leaf. The same guy who is the reason why they beat Cal in overtime. He is only a SO(RS). He'll get his chance and will be better then his cousin Matt (WSU) but won't touch Ryan's legacy. So just like everything else that is beautiful in Montana, let's ruin it.

Wow, your posts today are en fuego. I think most of the hatred for Ryan comes from the fact he DISOWNED Montana. During an interview Leaf told a reporter he now considered himself a Washingtonian and wanted nothing to do with his former home state. That and if you've ever met the guy he is a class A tool

I'm from Great Falls along with the entire Leaf family. I grew up watching Ryan, playing against Jeff a little in high school (middle brother who was a senior my sophomore ) and watching Brady. Ryan has done nothing for the town, the state or himself to be deemed anything of a "legacy" He played damn good in high school, all the while acting like a prick. He played great in college, all the while acting like a prick. He went to the pro's and played poorly and still acted like a prick. (Seems to be a pattern) Since leaving the game, he hasn't done a whole lot more to change my opinion of the guy. As a "fat and happy" couch watching football fan, I still take into account people's personality off the field and expect them to act with some shread of dignity, montanan or not.

Brady on the other hand has been nothing but nice every time I've met or been around him. He may get lumped in with his brother, but I've only seen good things out of him on and off the field.

I thought I heard a while back that coach Jack Johnson at CMR didn't want anything to do with Ryan after his escapades....??? Any truth to that?

Good! Washington can keep him. I wouldn't think that a smart coach like Jack Johnson would want anything to do with this basket case. That's why Jack Johnson is in the high school football hall of fame.

GO CATS!
