I've never listened to MSU's radio announcers, but I doubt they're any more objective and impartial than Mick and Gurns. That's kind of the point.

Definitely biased but they are still very professional, also the point.

This game won't be close.

Forte won't be playing with a sprained ankle, VA will be 100% and EWU will be able to run it a lot better because of this, which will eventually open up what the Eags do best. The Griz are in for a long day...

Every school announcer is biased, but they go above and beyond. Only Hawk Harrelson is worse then them.

I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

JJ won't throw two picks in the red zone, there will be instant replay, and Kupp won't take a punt to the house.

And yeah, remember when we went to a hurry-up offense in the second half and JJ ended up throwing for 447 yards? It's going to be fun watching your "defense" try to stop that from the get-go.

I'll stay on topic and not get into an argument as we will find out soon enough who is better...

Rooting for the Eags.

Wish the Cats were still in the playoffs, tough run of injuries to end the year really hurt you guys. Dakota and Johnson gone for the Griz game and Dakota didn't look 100% or even close to it against SDSU. We will see you in Cheney next year as you should have a really good team.

Yes, back to the subject. Rooting for Griz. If EWU was playing MSU I would be rooting for MSU.

"Do you honestly think the Griz are going to win this game?"

No reason we couldn't. It wasn't exactly a "blow out" last time and we certainly haven't gotten any worse. This should be a great game.

Despite my recent bravado, I'm in no way guaranteeing a Griz win. But I honestly think it's as close to a 50/50 proposition as you can get in college football.

Who cares? Why would we want them to win it all again and then listen to them brag about having Three national championship trophies at the FCS level forever?
Exactly. I have never once in my life cheered for the griz. It's a rivalry. I hope they get Bobby back that way I can go back to having nothing but pure hatred for the griz.
I had a really hard time hating them as much with Coach Delaney just because he brought a little bit if class.

Both schools make me want to puke.

I cannot, will not ever root for the griz in any way, shape, or form. I despise everything about their program, their fans, and pretty much most of Missoula in general. Moosedrool alone is the only positive thing I can ever think of coming out of that sh!thole. However, that said, I do have respect for the team/program and what they have accomplished.

I have grown to have an equal amount of disgust for EWU. One of my buddies coined the term "LARD" to describe Eastern: Loathing, Abhorrence, Revulsion, Detestation. I think it is quite fitting. I can't stand anything about their team full of punks, and their half-dozen wannabe gansta thug fans. I have no respect for anything about that entire program or school (which is also a joke on the academic side).

All that said, I will vaguely root for EWU this weekend, and I will root for them to get curb-stomped the next week by whomever they come up against. I can't stand either group of fans, but the fact is, UM has a lot more of them, so we won't have to listen to near as many groupies pumping their chests after EWU puts the beat down on the griz.

I truly don't think I'm being a homer when I say this, but I don't believe our radio guys are anywhere close to being as biased as "Dumb and Dumber", aka Mick and Gurns. I really can't stand those two. I've even heard some MSU fans complain because they thought that our guys aren't biased enough for their liking.

I won't even drink beers that are brewed in Missoula, except for Cold Smoke. As I understand it, the Kettle House brewery is owned by MSU grads, so that's an allowable exception. Unfortunately, you can't get it anymore in most of Montana. Beef O' Brady's used to have it here in GF, because the manager/owner drove to Missoula and picked up a keg (or maybe a few kegs) every week, but apparently he doesn't do that anymore.
