I do care about them, for the many reasons I've posted here before over the years. It's obvious that the release for your frustration is to visit this board and be a smartass. I'm OK with that.

The Harris thing is dumb and dangerous, but I'm not gonna throw rocks that direction because that very easily could happen to anyone of our players as far as underage drinking and driving goes. However, the coach/player issue is absolutely ridiculous and totally unbecoming of a program that already has been in the news for other incidents. That coach whomever he is, has to be either dumb or has one heck of an echo he was trying to protect, what a bunch of clowns that staff is made up of!!

It's likely the Missoulian's fault, as well as Pat Williams'.

Are you sure a football coach was downtown and involved or are you speculating?

Reported in the Missoulian. Was the second part of the Harris story. Bar owner refused to pursue charges so the PD refused to release the name. Sorry, can't figure out how to post the link off my tablet.

To see the entire article go to the Missoulian and enter Bo Harris DUI in search.
The Harris DUI, the article speaks for itself.

The second part is certainly true. I have a few eye-witness sources who say the majority of the UM football team was downtown in Missoula on Saturday just causing all sorts of ruckus. A player and a coach, who shall remain anonymous, got in an altercation that resulted in a smashed window and a trip to the emergency room for the puncher. The fact that coaches and players were partaking in extra-curriculars together in itself is appalling.

I haven't seen the majority of the Montana State football team out in downtown Bozeman cumulatively in my entire time living here! The more things change, the more they seem to stay the same on the west side of the divide....
A majority of the team causing all sorts of ruckus?

Sounds legit.

Dumpster fires smell, and the smell carries, regardless of how much I do or do not care about the dumpster itself.

Anyway, your program reflects badly on my state. I care about that.

Gee, since it was reported as part of a story on a FOOTBALL player being arrested, then state "in other news, a coach....." If its not a football coach, then I'll give you its a crappy "guilt by association" by the Missoulian, but its hard to not take that impression away from the article. And unless someone provides evidence its a golf, tennis or speech and debate coach, then quit speculating, as you have no idea.

In Missoula an article can be written about anything and the piggyback article referring to the football team attaches. The big problem is when the truth comes out the damage is already done.

Bozeman is so wholesome, he said it's been reported in the papers they're going to close all the bars because no one down there drinks anymore.

On another note......Missoula is a good place for you guys to send eyewitnesses.....and maybe even find a beer or two......and maybe even see a football player!!!
And Bozeman is a good place to send all the witness protection program people that witness your "football team" out tearing it up with their coaching staff.

And it appears your son is ten times smarter than you because he chose to get an education. At least he will have the ability to put you in a better retirement home.

I love how the bar owner didn't press charges, yet had it just been a regular drunk college student I guarantee that kids name would be plastered all over the Missoulian. Every time another one of these cases comes out of the Zoo, I only hope that it makes our players that much more aware of how actions can destroy a players career or even a program.
