No. You blame this on a very small percentage of the Bobcat fan base. I would never take a griz loss over a Bobcat win. Mostly, it's just an added bonus for the griz to lose. Especially when they lose to a team that we beat just 2 days earlier.

and they never talk about the cats on egriz. :roll: oh wait...i counted 11 thread titles on the cats alone over there without going to other pages! i guess that's why "they" think it's funny when griz talk about "them" having griz envy. get a grip. :roll:

Yea, Cury was in attendance and the Hornets and the Cats can both be happy he called a pretty good game and didn't determine the out come for either team,,,,,,Great win CATS....Travel well and kick tail on the road next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, there are, in fact, four Hauck threads on the first page of this forum. What you apparently are failing to grasp is that three of them were started by Griz fans. He's historically the worst ref in the BSC. Notorious for making terrible calls and it "seems" like he hates MSU. The story with me is that he tried to kick me out of a game last year because I told him that the other team was holding too much under the basket. He asked/yelled if I was "out of my mind" talking to him like that. He's just an all-around ass.

Eric Curry has got a big ego, and has never made a wrong call in his life. He also happens to be a real @$$hole.

Last year at a home game, Eric Curry (the worst referee in all of CBB) tried to throw longhorn out of a game, because he questioned a call. He didn't even swear or anything, just asked him during a timeout when he was standing next to the hoop. I was right behind him when it happened. It was priceless. He had to go sit on the sidelines instead of the endzone (or whatever you call the bleachers behind the hoop).

He said something to the effect of "how dare you question my refereeing prowess!".

I'm sure longhorn remembers much better than I do - prolly the exact words.

The situation went like this:

I was waiting under the basket to do a timeout promotion. I was standing next to Eric Curry and decided to point something out to him.

Eric: *looks at longhorn*
Longhorn: "They are holding way too much under the basket."
Eric: "Are you out of your mind?! You can't come down here and talk to us like that!"
Longhorn: *stunned and speechless*
Eric: *prances over to scorers table to tell on me and asks for my removal*
Longhorn: *pleads case and is allowed to sit in the other part of the student section*

I've hated him ever since.

Holy hell I bet he's one of those people that - when you go to their house and don't know they recycle - they act like you just smacked their first born when you toss something into the trash.

In other words, he sounds like a really really cool guy.
