We prefer consonants, thanks. Specifically, "NC".

(Oh, and incidentally, one could argue that both our FCS games are as difficult as your FBS game).

I thought the Griz were already better than 2/3 of the Mtn West Conference and 90% of the WAC... why prove it on the field?
Because they don't need to. The Griz make more money playing at home. Playing a I-A is a no-win situation unless you make oodles of money. And the Griz make larger oodles of money playing at home. And home games also make their fans happy. And they make the community happy. And they make the local businesses happy. Hmmm....maybe there's a theme here that could be used to describe why UM continues to build and build so quickly, and why msu is still stuck in the Quiet Zone.

GinWa hit the nail on the head. As MSU continues to look for the quick fix money games every year, instead of trying to build a program, we will always be the poor step sister.

I hate to break it to ya'll but with the sure loss to Minnesota, probable loss to UM on the road, and almost as probable loss to high powered EWU at home, the Cats will have to win the remaining 8-9 games (depending on how many we schedule) to have a shot at the playoffs. Doesn't sound very likely now does it? But, if we were to play an extra home game, instead of Minnesota, I would like our chances better of being alive at the end of the year for the playoffs. I guess we all better start waiting for Crazy and I to come up with scenarios for a 7-4 Bobcat team to get in the playoffs, because until the admin figures out we are going about buidling a program the wrong way, it will never get any better

A lot of faith you have in next years team. I don't by any means see Minnesota as a sure loss, I think it's a very winnable game for a nice pay check. I wouldn't at this time call Cat/griz a probable loss- yea we play them in Missoula next year just like we do every other year and it's usually a slug fest the past few years. We don't know exactly how we're going to be and neither do the griz (I think Hauck will still be there, but maybe not, and they lost a bunch of seniors. EWU should be tough next year, but every conference game on the road is tough. The Cats don't have the facilities, butts in the seats, etc. that the griz have so we can't play the same scheduling game they do- they can make as much money playing at home against a guppy as the Cats do playing a FBS team on the road.

I see the cats losing at least 4 games next year and probable 5. GRIZ will go undefeated again.

I'll bet you any amount of money that the griz will not go undefeated next season, and I'll double or nothing that the Cats will not lose 5 games. Or do you just like to run your mouth?

Any word on the bobcats 2008 schedule? I didn't see anything on the main board.

We all know how hard it is to go undefeated. We have gone undefeated in the conference two years running which is unbelievable.

Here's what I'll bet you. You pick the charity (must be mutually agreeable), you pick the dollar amount. I'll bet you msu has more in conference loses than the GRIZ and we once again finish higher than the cats.

Nice back-pedal. That seems like a bit of a departure from the Griz going undefeated and the Cats losing 5 games.

So far this is the only thing I can find regarding the Cats schedule for next year. Since it is a 12 game year still need to add three more non conference games.

Thought we were playing a DII school next year?? Be great to somehow get 7 home games.

But they did lose to the team, who lost to the team, who lost to the team that will win the NC...

I know we lost to Northern Colorado

This is a much tougher schedule that 07 season. I see several possible losses with these teams. Even in conference their road games are no gimmees. IF bobby leaves, that could mean a very rough year for the griz.

Didn't go so well this year.

beats the sh*t out of none and and done, with 5 losses (including one to arguably the worst scholarship program in the history of FCS), now doesn't it?

That schedule sure is messed up. I didn't compare all the other dates but on October 18th, we're hosting EWU and NAU and playing at Northern Colorado and Weber State.

If you read the key, the light blue games are confirmed games but unknown dates. UM and EWU seem to be the only ones to have set their whold schedule.
