Just because Mslacat says it is so, does not mean that it is so. Mel Kiper he is not.

Mslacat has a 4 year legacy of being the most reliable, accurate source of Bobcat hoop info out there. He is routinely several days ahead of the state newspapers. When it comes to MSU Basketball he is twice as good as Mel Kiper is to college/pro football.

You, on the other hand, Griz Dude, have become known for poor analysis based on insufficient information presented with a placating yet anti-MSU attitude.

To think your word would be taken over Mslacat's is a grand miscalculation.

I'd hedge my bets and wait for another thread to assert my agenda, if I were you.

You are quite incorrect, my friend. I do not have an anti-MSU attitude. I actually want them to win every game, except for a certain game in November.

Just because I was incorrect in my last two predictions that the Cats would lose to NAU and PSU, so what? For your information, the bookmakers had the Cats as underdogs in both games. I guess I was in good company with my predictions.

It is the same thing every year with Kramer's teams, they beat teams they are supposed to lose to, then get beat by some nobody. nothing different about this season. I think it will continue once again in Sacramento.

As for Mslacat knowing all about Utah's recruiting process, I am not buying it.

OK enough it is not worth argueing about. First i appreciate people coming to my defence, but I really did not take any exception to what he said. A few points

1) If you ask anyone who knows me, biggest difference between my self and Mel Kiper (how ever you spell it) is that I do not have the perfect Mel comb back Hair.

2) I am not an expert on Utahs recruirting, I admit that I only repeated what I heard. A few facts based on what I just looked up. Utah has only one senior on it's team this year (gaurd Ricky Johns) but a quick look on both rivals and Scout show Utah has four commitments for next year Carlon Brown SG 6-4, Nemanja Calasan PF 6-9, Morgan Grim PF 6-7, and Dallin Rogers, SF 6-3, that I could find.

3) Griz dude is correct in the fact that if not Utah then other higher profile colleges are most likely recruiting Allen hard. If we were to get Allen we would have beat out quite a few bigger schools. He will be a tough get.

There is no Vegas book on IAA games. Nice try though.

The confusion stems from Duane Kuiper, 2nd baseman for Cleveland back in the 70's and 80's. A very common mistake.

Did I say anything about Vegas? Ever hear of internet betting? There is a line on every IAA game played on internet betting sites. Or, is that too provential for you, Gavin? :D

In fact, I made $200 betting on ISU (+1) at Northern Colorado. It was like taking a rodent from a Bobcat. :D

Griz Dude, it is "provincial", not "provential". And internet betting??? Maybe I'm being provincial now, but how do you know the internet sports book (or casino or whatever) won't just rip you off?

Yeah, you said bookmakers, which means that it was set by a group of paid professionals sanctioned by the gambling houses of Las Vegas, the only place in America where it is legal to gamble. The Matt Daugherty pick, or the AGS spreads are not set by bookmakers, neither are the offshore gambling websites (which are being shut down soon, so close your account and get paid in cash), their picks are whims pulled out of the air by people often as misinformed as you are, especially if they have UNC giving a point like you claim.

This just keeps getting better and better. You really have no clue, do you?

Thats alright, you make me laugh.

Gavin, give it up. When you've had, take it like a man.

I have made over $3000 on my internet bookie this football season. I will be sure to heed your warning and take my cash out soon, since I live in a dumpster and am not aware of the implementation of international gaming sanctions.

You say tomatoe, I say tomato, you say potaoe, I say potato, you say provincial, I say provential.

Thanks for playing.

By "international gambling sanctions," I assume you mean the fact that the owners of two of these sites have been charged with Federal felonies, right?

I don't want to preach, but seriously...if I were you, I'd kick the online gambling habit now. So far, the DOJ is only indicting owners of sites, and hopefully it'll stay that way, but it sure wouldn't shock me if individual gamblers are the next to get prosecuted. Hopefully Congress will legalize online gambling at some point, but unless/until that happens, I'd give it a rest.

Just my .02 worth...

Thanks for the pro bono advise. But, I am fully aware of the federal stuff going on regarding internet betting. My money is removed each week. I currently have only $300 in the account. If the site is closed down, I will lose it. But, that is the price one must pay to be able to place bets on Big Sky games. I have lost only one bet so far this season on my Big Sky game bets. Fortunately, I stayed away from betting on the Cat games the past two weeks, or I would have lost both. The Cats are way to unpredictable for my liking.

I may bet on the Cat/Sac St. game however. The line comes out tommorrow.
