My seats are in the Canyon Club section. I know if people are inside or outside of the CC, and I can see in boxes across the field. I can see the length of the lines when I enter the stadium. I have never seen such long lines as the SS game. The CC section has a special entrance with no line, so we can enter right before the game. I text with multiple people during and after games including Brint Wahlberg. He usually enters late because he has to shut down his big and nice tailgate right before the game. He gets caught in the big lines. I can see sections filling up after the game starts. I see what people say or complain about on the internet. It's not very hard to monitor this. And I said the SS ruckus was right below or in front of me, I believe. My seats are first row of CC section. From the special entrance and walking around southern part of stadium, 4 of the 5 entrances can be seen.Cataholic wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 10:28 pmWow! You are amazing!! Re: gris "resurgence"
Last Friday night during the SWX newscast, Shaun Rainey was previewing the Sac-gris game, and at one point referred to wa-gris as "the mecca of FCS football", which made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. I only watch on Friday nights, because they do a pretty good of covering the high school football playoffs, but that guy is such a gris homer and Beavis fanboy...it's pretty hard to take sometimes. Apparently he won some kind of award as the best sportscaster in Montana? Really????

I'm just a tad skeptical of that claim. I can only hope that our Bobcats will keep it very quiet.
But first we have to take care of EWU. Anyway, this is the propganda they are spreading:
Can you hear us now?!! Washington-Grizzly Stadium is in the top 10 of loudest stadiums in ALL of college football! Montana had an official decibel reading of 111.3 decibels back in 2013, though some Griz fans say they recorded higher levels up to 117 decibels using their own devices!
“Charles, we’ve been to some pretty cool places, but this has got to be the tops! Reminds me of Autzen Stadium up in Oregon.” – ESPN commentators Todd Harris & Charles Arbuckle
Here’s the top 10 loudest college football stadiums!
1. Husky Stadium (University of Washington) – 133 decibels
2. Memorial Stadium (Clemson) – 132 decibels
3. Tiger Stadium (LSU) – 130 decibels
4. Autzen Stadium (Oregon) – 127 decibels
5. Beaver Stadium (Penn State) – 122 decibels
6. Razorback Stadium (Arkansas) – 117 decibels
7. Kyle Field (Texas A&M) – 117 decibels
8. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Florida) – 115 decibels
9. Neyland Stadium (Tennessee) – 113 decibels
10. Washington-Grizzly Stadium (Montana) – 111.3 decibels
11. Michigan Stadium (Michigan) – 110 decibels
"A Grizzly Athletics measuring team say they recorded a noise level of 111.3 decibels with rented equipment, though fans at a different location in the stadium tell NBC Montana they saw a recording on their own device of 117.3."

Wash-Griz stadium's stated capacity is 25,217. The lowest reported attendance of the 5 games this fall is 25,430. Largest was 26,978 this season, which I believe is the largest crowd ever at the stadium."UFC Bantamweight Champion and Helena resident Sean O’Malley raised the 37 flag."![]()

“ Stadium access - egriz post from Brint Wahlberg - I agree
I cannot stress this enough access to the stadium is damn mess and is ruining fan experience. Both north entrances that are probably handling 1/3 to 1/2 of the stadium access had 2 gates open and 1 staffer wanding everyone. There was a bag check line, but no one was checking bags. There were other gates that could be opened and staffed... yet they weren't. I got in line at 1:40 standing almost with my back to the campers on campus drive. At 2:18 I was in the stadium. This has gone on for years and is getting worse each time. Fans were mad and yelling - this happened 2 weeks ago as well. For the prices of tickets to the game - especially the highway robbery that GrizTix is reselling them at it is utterly embarrassing what little care or attention is being put into accessing the stadium. I can get into other college games, NFL games, and concerts faster. This isn't some new world unheard of process that we're trying to figure out as it's happening.”

This is great. Two years ago trying to get into that place was the worst experience I have ever had at any sporting event or concert. Two 70 year old ladies in charge of thousands of people getting into two tiny entrances. Crazy they haven't been able to fix that two years later.Grizfan7 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 11:58 pmAn email to Haslam, 3 others in AD office, and Bodnar. I sent another one too. Sent on 10-1.

I only watch on Friday nights, because they do a pretty good of covering the high school football playoffs, but that guy is such a gris homer and Beavis fanboy...it's pretty hard to take sometimes. Apparently he won some kind of award as the best sportscaster in Montana? Really????
It is A mecca, not THE mecca. There are numerous mecca's in FCS football, as in a place that people want to go to watch football. The top ten FCS attended stadiums are all "mecca's" in that regard.
He is a small market sports caster who will most likely never make it out of any media market bigger than missoula, as he lacks talent to progress any further. He is also despised by the gris head coach, hence the beavis fanboy and gris homer schtick. Just another California transplant.
The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

By the way, how come there has been hundreds of Gris tickets available via resellers for $4 to $6 apiece? You would think with the sold out demand of max capacity games that secondary tickets would be at least $20!

UM tiks haven’t been available for $6. Optical illusion. Record crowds. Loud. Lots of motion and game delay penalties for opponents. Things have been great this season in Griz stadium.

And facts don’t lie. As an attorney, you should know that. Lots of empty seats during the whole Gris broadcast on TV. Undisputable. Like Bobby would say, watch the tape.
And those tickets are absolutely true. Obviously not for Cat Gris, but there are hundreds of tickets being offered for basically nothing for your games. That is a fact.
