In comparison Montana State received $425,000 from Wyoming and paid Drake and San Diego $275,000 each. So the Cats use the money to guarantee home games, and the Eagles use the money to guarantee they have a football team.
Oregon State will pay the Cats $675,000 for this year's game and the Cats will pay Moorhead State $250,000 for a home game. Are the Cats paying any other teams to come to Bozeman this season?
The griz?

And would be Soo sweet to beat OSU on the road.
Don't know why the Beavs agreed to a neutral field for this game. They have to pack their bags and ride a bus for an hour just to get there. All around bad idea imo. I'd be VERY nervous about this game if I were a Beaver fan.
Reports are that they have a huge fan base in Portland and try to get over there to help fund raise, recruit and increase state awareness id the program.
And it kicks PSU out of the stadium one more time a year back to the community college field.
MSU fan.... U of I Graduate... They're Back

OSU is renovating their stadium in Corvallis, which prompted moving this game to Portland. The Beavs are reconstructing one of their grandstands (sound familiar?).
It will be interesting how the ticket demand will play out. The OSU stadium is about 40k capacity. Providence Park in Portland is 25k. Hope there are enough tickets for us Bobcat fans.

Home attendance for the Beavs in Corvallis, OR in 2021 *Note: Sept. 18 vs. Idaho (won 42-0) attendance 26,797. Hopefully Bobcat fans will get tickets in Portland...but could be tight with that 25K capacity.

It's an awesome stadium. The subway/train pulls right up to the front gates. Good food. Bars in close proximity. I don't think there's really any traditional tailgating nearby, but a great place for a soccer team.
Monte eats corn the long way.
