Montana Tech Quarterbacks...

Post by Mr Lisle » Tue Aug 30, 2016 9:45 am

Quinn McQreary who was the 2015 starter who perfomed well but went down early with injuries returns as a junior this year. Andrew Loudenback former quarterback turned tight end then returned to quarterback when McQueary was injured and guided them to an 8-1 finish returns as a senior. Former Butte High quarterback Dallas Cook is now on the Tech roster and comes in as a junior. At the moment, Tech looks stocked. Can't be an NAIA team anywhere with a quarterback group like this.

You are correct sir. In fact, I just got a message from my MT Tech grad brother who saw my post and told me about Reardon. He is a junior from Helena who started 6 games in 2014, went 86-174 and 10 TD's. And...full disclosure...former Butte Central quarterback/kicker and griz transfer Danny Peoples plus two freshmen qb's are on the roster.

I heard from an offensive lineman that. Quinn McQueary was having some injury issues again so we'll see who starts

Cook, who set 14 Montana state records in his time at Butte, as well as the single game record for TD passes in a game at NDSCS, will have to sit out this season due to a redshirt to focus on his grades, but will still have two years of eligibility left after the redshirt year.

"He’s going to take a redshirt year this year and focus on taking care of school," Morrell added. " so it’s something certainly down the road we’ll be looking forward to."
