Jordan West stock falling
I thought he was destined to do great things as so many EWU/Baldwin QBs have done over the years. Looks like he's now third on their depth chart behind Hennessey and Gubrud. Sad to see, but sports can be cruel in many ways.

If West is as good as we thought he was and he is 3rd on the depth chart that's bad news for him and us.

I remember EWU fans saying Vernon Adams was replaceable and there would be no drop off with West.
Then they go 6-5 and miss the playoffs for the first time in a while after scoring over 10ppg less on offense in conference play than 2014.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

I remember ewu fans thinking Adams was that great, then West, then who is next....not that it matters most of their QBs have been average at best.
Their WRs make any QB look good and they have for years....Boyce, Kimbal, Kupp, etc

Not quite. They have a pretty good history of better than average QB's recently, VA, Bo Levi, Matt Nichols, Eric Meyer, etc...AlphaGriz1 wrote:I remember ewu fans thinking Adams was that great, then West, then who is next....not that it matters most of their QBs have been average at best.

Don't confuse AG1 with the facts. Remember, he used to routinely rant and rave about how Booby was such a crappy coach, because he was 0-3 in NC games. Of course in the 6 years since he left, they haven't even sniffed a NC game, and have only made it past the 2nd round once. And yes I do count that 2011 SF appearance, even though it was later vacated. Still, Hauck's record looks pretty damn good compared to what UM has done since then, even though I can't stand the guy.catatac wrote:Not quite.
