Calipari will be filling lots of holes in his team. This sounds like a major arrogance where almost everyone feels the are worthy. Or could it be Calipari and everyone just wants to leave...

I suppose you've forgotten about last spring? Another school was recruiting one of these kids declaring for the draft and thought they had him. Calipari made one visit and the kid flipped. The coach filed a complaint with the NCAA and Calipari's only statement went something to the effect: I don't need to cheat. All I have to do is visit the kid and extend an offer and he'll accept. We are Kentucky and if you come play a year for me the NBA is waiting for you..RickRund wrote:Calipari will be filling lots of holes in his team. It's actually a good move by Cal, and helps his players.
Everybody is eligible to enter the draft, get feedback from teams/scouts, and then decide to stay in the draft or go back to college. Why shouldn't they be doing this? It's a no-brainer.

The funny thing is that Jamal Murray had a final two of Oregon and Kentucky, and is best friends with fellow Canadian Dillon Brooks, and would have probably led Oregon to the Final Four instead of being on one of Calipari's more underachieving teams in years.
I never thought I'd say a one-and-done player would have better team success at Oregon, but here we are, and probably the same next year since the Ducks bring in a Top 15 class and everyone is back except Elgin Cook and Dwayne Benjamin.
