That's his third transfer in two years. Something tells me it's a Connor Brewer thing, not a Souers or NAU thing.

4th school in as many years. He said he wasn't one to renege. Right...

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Somehow this reminded me of the Washington State Cougar running back who left early. The Cougars were getting stomped and at halftime the running back changed into his street cloths, left the stadium, jumped in his pickup and drove away.

Put Deon Burnett in your browser if you're interested. I think he walked out during the Husky game of all things. He was a sophmore who had a terrific freshman season. Happened during Mike Prices' era.

I'm surprised any coach would touch him. He's already transferred twice, and he wants to do it again after two months. He's clearly not a guy you can count on.

This kid never did transfer to NAU. He did verbally agree to transfer when he completed his degree at Arizona. Virginia came it late offering him a chance at starting there next season.

I would suspect the kid is a solid player with getting so many chances.
