grizatwork has always been a VERY fair poster on here. I think it makes sense to give him the benefit of the doubt ... especially when he apologizes.

Right on cue ... I was just about to post how a certain somebody would jump into this thread to defend the Griz poster. Darn it, I was late!

Back in your room, MSUToddler! Griz posters get protected here, while MSU fans get threatened with being banned.

They're making up all kinds of excuses on egriz right now. Very entertaining, VERY entertaining. Remember how they crucified us over buying out NDSU? This is way worse than that.

Completely different situations, both of which are/were bad.

And don't forget Brandom's dad. I don't think any of these situations is bad. It's just the way the world of sports works. If you can hang something "bad" on your rival/opponent (slightly deflated footballs, using stickum, etc.) that's just what some people do. No one has to agree with, or pay any attention to, them. Neither side can complain when the other gives them s--t, because they've both done it so much for so long that no one knows who started it and no one's going to let the other get the last word. I find the above comment to be more like innocuous ribbing than a serious commentary that's harming/degrading/generalizing UM. Maybe I'm not reading it right.

Does anyone seriously care if MSU bought out the NDSU game or if UM changed its mind about giving someone a scholarship or if a parent of a player (probably unwittingly) asked another recruit to join his son's team? I mean is this really earth-shattering stuff that people have to act so appalled? Twenty-two American veterans commit suicide per day. We have cancer, car wrecks, child abuse, and that's just things that start with the letter "C." There are other examples of things to be truly concerned about. None of them involve an underinflated ball or a pulled scholarship offer.

I was not going to post on this thread again, but that is a phenomenal post. That is what I was trying to state earlier in this thread that no one really knows the story and that both fans bases are going to find fault in the opponent when they can. Just guessing that a coaching regime change + sanctions + a coach who hasn't ever had to deal with scholarships ended up in an awkward position. I bet the guy would play his best games in mid-November if we recruited him!

I don't hate it here. I just find the inferiority complex of many of this board's posters toward the Griz to be odd. If I'm not welcome here because I'm a Bobcat homer, so be it. It's not like this board is swimming with activity. If the business model is to insult Bobcat fans by having one of your mods posting the one PM I sent to him regarding a poster insulting me, well, you're doing a bang-up job.
